You can check in to the hotel and freshen up and set off on the adventurous journey exploring one of South India’s most favourite hill stations. You can head to Mattuppetty Dam for a picturesque start. The dam offers an incredible view of the hill station. Mattuppetty Dairy Farm is the perfect place to grasp a quick understanding of the livelihood of Munnar. Among the many waterfalls that dots across Munnar, Attukad Waterfalls and Lakkom Waterfalls are two popular places tourists make sure they don’t miss. You can also spend some peaceful time at the tranquil Kundala Lake.
The second day can be reserved for some adventure. For those who love to trek, there are plenty of options like Meesapulimala, Echo point, Top Station or Eravikulam National Park. While the trek in itself can be an indescribably beautiful experience, the view that you catch on the way and at the summit is something that will stay with you forever.
The sprawling tea plantations are something that is huge part in the identity of Munnar. Drop by at the Tata Tea Plantation to know more about the plucking and processing and packing of tea leaves. Then head back to the hotel for the night. .
